This "VOC" coin belonging to the Verenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie(Dutch East Indies Company) known to have sunk in Galle Harbour on Sri Lanka's southwestern coast. The coins were minted with the VOC insignia on them to pay their armies and settle foreign debts and shipped those coins all over the world.
