Coin Number : 03-2030



This coin was part of Admiral Gardner, an English East India Company ship that sank on the sands of South Foreland on January 24, 1809 with seven crewmen & a cargo of coins for nearly 200 years. The ship along with its sister ship Britannia was on its way to India to pay the workers in Bengal & Madras when a severe storm ran her aground.
